Media Relations

Media relations is, most simply put, creating and maintaining mutually beneficial relationships with journalists. Historically the most central aspect of public relations, media relations includes all efforts to publicize products or a company to members of the press, using such tools as news releases, pitch letters, news conferences, letters to the editor and, perhaps most importantly, personal contact.
