Other than work and traveling back and forth from NC to Silicon Valley, my passion is spending time with my daughter, gardening and learning how to raise 6 chickens. Another passion is amateur photography — I’ve recently submitted several photographs to be displayed at the local Fine Arts exhibit in Washington, NC and entered into the National Geographic Travel Photography contest.

When not at my laptop, I am usually passionately engaged in travel, exploring the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, reading, gardening, yoga, and creating multimedia (OFF the computer) collage.

Being the best mom that I can be to my two beautiful children, Sadie and Carlin, is my passion and inspiration. Together we enjoy going to the zoo, amusement parks, children's museums, farmers markets, festivals and the park. We also enjoy long walks at the lake, swimming, art, games, reading, movies, singing and dancing. The sun rises and sets with my kids for me, and through their eyes, my passion for life and learning grows stronger each and every day. In addition, I am a karaoke buff (I have this dream of having my own lounge act), an avid San Jose State football fan - love tailgating with all of my old college buddies who I've reconnected with thanks to social networking. I recently became a fan of "MEcations" (that's me on my first hot air balloon ride ALL BY MYSELF in Calistoga - a fabulous 4-day personal getaway!) and I'm writing my first book entitled, "I Know Your Type".
